*NEW FIC* Safe & Sound Chapter 1:

Hey, I haven't posted anything new lately, but I havea new smosh fanfic!! Hope you like it!! As you may know, this is based on the Taylor Swift song, Safe & Sound.... Hope you like it!!

I remember when I lost my first tooth, I remember that time we went to England, I remember when I met Jack Black... I remember everything, except him.

He was the boy who was my best friend. He was the boy who comforted me when he saw me crying. He is the one I love.

As I engaged in deep thought, my English professor said something louder than normal, which snapped me back to reality. My name is Charlotte, I'm 24 years old and I study Literature at Stanford University. When I was thirteen, I was in a terrible car accident which erased part of my memory. My most important memory.

I recall three things.

One, he was my best friend until I was thirteen, when my parents forced me to move schools.
Two, My parents hated him.
Three, he had the most beautiful blue eyes.

As soon as the lecture finished, I packed up my stuff and walked back to my dorm. I sat down and opened up my laptop to work on my novel.
"Hey, what's up?" my roommate Beccy walked in the door.
"Nothing much, almost finished my book though!" I smiled.
"Wait until you see this really funny video on YouTube! I'm basically obsessed with these guys!" She took my laptop and pulled up a video in a new tab.

"Hey!" I laughed and pressed play. A video called 'If Video Games Were Real' came up and started with two guys sitting on a couch playing Xbox.
"See, the guy on the right is really hot!" Beccy smiled at me. I just closed the laptop slowly.

"What's wrong?" She seemed worried.
"The guy on the left seems really familiar." I answered.
"Well let's watch the rest of the video and you might have an idea who he is." Beccy suggested.

"Kay." I sighed. Rose opened the laptop and it started playing again.
"Wait, your tank was upside down and then your master chief guy came and flipped it right over?" The guy on the left was first to speak. I choked.A
"I... I know who that is..." I breathed. "I-It's him."

That night I watched all of their videos and basically stalked him. I found his name and phone number on a random website and decided to call him in the morning.

Morning came and I ran to the park. I dialed the number and breathed in deeply.
"Hello?" The voice from the video asked.
"Hi, is this Ian?" I asked, shaking.
"Uh yeah, who is this?"
"You might not remember me, We were best friends when we were little, I'm Charlotte." I never thought I would say that. For the longest ten seconds of my life there was just silence. All the memories started flooding my mind. The crying, the goodbyes.
"Oh. My. God." The voice on the other line whispered. "Can we meet? Where are you?"
"Um, the park outside of Stanford. I hope you're close." I was shocked that Ian would want to meet up with me so soon.
"Good, I'm pretty close, I'll be there in a sec."

After about five minutes of me sitting on the park bench, I saw a blue Subaru pulling up to the car park.

"Charlotte!" Ian yelled and ran up to me.
"Ian." I breathed. He hugged me tight and kissed me on the forehead. All the happiness started rushing back, and finally, I'm in his reach again. Tears of joy stung my eyes but I didn't care.

We drove back to Ian's house and I met Anthony. I decided to tell Ian about the car crash.
"After I left, I was really depressed and I couldn't think straight. I crossed the road without thinking to look. I got hit. The hit was almost fatal. The front tyre was an inch away from running over and killing me. The crash erased my memory of you. I'm so sorry." I started to cry.
"It's okay, I love you." Ian kissed my temple and hugged me tightly.
"I'll never let you go." I whispered into his chest.

After about fifteen minutes of talking, it was about seven o'clock.
"You hungry?" Ian asked.
"Yeah, wanna get some pizza?" I asked.
"Sounds good, what do you like?" Ian got his phone and dialed the number.
"vegetarian?" I shrugged.
"Wow, you've changed." Ian smiled.
"Oh, I'm not vegetarian, I just like vegetarian pizza." I laughed.
"Phew!" Ian laughed. He ordered a pepperoni pizza and a vegetarian.
"Come on, let's play some Mario Kart." Ian got two Wii remotes off the tv cupboard. We played rainbow road until the pizza guy came.
"So what have you been doing for the past eleven years?" Ian took a bite of his pizza.
"Well, believe it or not, I'm studying literature at Stanford!" I laughed. "You?"
"Well, I moved schools and met Anthony, we made up a random YouTube channel and got heaps of views. People think we're famous!"
"That's so cool! I can't believe I've never seen it!" I grinned.
"Which reminds me, Anthony and I are making a music video called the Legend of Zelda rap, but we need a Zelda. Do you think you would like to be in it?" He asked.
"Uh, sure! Is it okay with Anthony?"
"He'll be fine with it, don't worry." Ian smiled. He had the most beautiful smile.
