19: last chapter!!!

I woke up to see a bright light and heard beeping noises. The first person I saw was Anthony. How did he get here? I shot up, and looked around, only to find extreme pain coming from my left side.
"What happened? Where's Ian? Where am I?" I breathed.
"Your ex stabbed both you and Ian, but Ian still hasn't woken up yet." Anthony replied. He looked like he had no sleep and seemed really emotionally distressed.
"WHAT?" I got up and tried to run to the bed on the other side of the room, but I felt the sharp pain again and collapsed on the floor, crying.
"Hey, why did you do that?" Anthony smiled weakly.
"I need to see Ian. When will he be better?" I sobbed into Anthony's chest.
"I don't know, the doctor will be coming in any second now that you're awake." He hugged me softly. Anthony helped me back onto the bed and he asked the doctor if he could wheel me next to Ian. I held Ian's hand and told him that it would be alright, that he would wake up, that I would marry him. I fell asleep for about an hour and when I woke up, Ian was awake and laughing and talking to Anthony. I almost jumped out of the hospital bed when I heard his voice again.
"Ian?" I whispered. He got out of his bed and kissed me. "So what was your answer to my question?" He asked sweetly.
"YES!" I jumped up and kissed him. Ian pulled the ring out of the box and put it on my finger. It was a beautiful, white diamond, with a simple silver band. I love Ian so much, I wouldn't give this away for the world.

Well this is the end! I'm hoping to write a prequel soon and I really enjoyed writing my first fanfic! If you have any suggestions leave a comment!!

---------------------------EMILY'S P.O.V.------------------------
I woke up at about seven on the hotel couch. I had a really nice dream about Tom and I getting married, I've always had a crush on him, but I've never really taken into account that I might meet him and fall in love... I sat up and saw Charlotte and Ian sleeping on the mattress on the floor. Both of their hair was all messed up, and Ian was curled up in a ball with his head on Charlotte's lap. I got up and pulled my hairbrush out of my overnight bag and pulled my hair into a messy bun. God, I just remembered last night, I'm going on a date with Tom Felton! I got my Elmo shirt and my high waisted shorts out and got dressed in the bathroom. I walked out and saw Ian drinking coffee in the kitchen sort of area.
"Morning sleepyhead!" Ian smiled. I got a mountain dew out of the mini fridge and poured it into a glass.
"Morning, do you guys want to go out for breakfast?" I asked.
"Yeah, that'll be cool. Charlotte's on her laptop on the mattress." Ian pointed to the tv area. I walked over to her and sat down.
"So, do you want to out for breakfast? There's a new spot in Cottesloe. It's really good." I asked.
"Yeah, on the beach? We might be able to visit my nan after." She looked up.
"Good idea, I haven't seen her in ages!" I smiled.

We got to the restaurant and ordered our meals. For two hours they wouldn't come so we got up and sat on the beach.
"God, what are we going to eat?" Charlotte asked.

-------------charlotte's pov------------
"Yeah, what will we eat?" Ian asked.
"There's a cafè over there." I pointed out. We walked over and got our breakfast there. After we had done, I needed to go to the bathroom.

----------------Ian's pov------------------
"Here, I'll pay." I gave Emily a twenty dollar note.
"You don't need to do that, Ian. I'll pay. I think I know what you're saving up for..." She whispered. She was right.
"You're right. But twenty dollars won't make a difference." I replied, keeping my voice down.
"Whatever you say, we still need to go and see Lana today." I surrendered.
"Yeah, Charlotte loves her nan." I smiled as she came back from the bathroom.
"Hey, it's time to go, let's go to Garden City." she smiled.

----------CHARLOTTES POV-------------
"God, we don't need to go out and buy anything, I've got some at home." She smiled.
"No, I insist, I'm not going home without buying something for you." I replied and got my bag.
"Okay, let's go." she surrendered.
"Yay! You need to leave at around 12, so we better not be long." I clapped. I looked at my phone and it said that it was eleven. We quickly went to Garden City and picked out a peach pink bikini for Emily and a Tiffany blue one for me. We payed, got a boost juice and left for our hotel, which was coincidentally the same as Tom's. Emily got dressed as Ian and I sat on the couch watching tv.
"Is there any other good beaches here?" Ian asked.
"Yeah, Scarborough is pretty good." I replied.
"Well why don't we go there today?" Ian asked.
"Sure! We can have a picnic on the grass." I replied, excited.
"Cool, I'll go get some Food and stuff and I'll pick you up at one." Ian kissed me on the forehead, grabbed his wallet and keys and walked out the door. I just sat playing minecraft and watching tv. About half an hour later, Emily left to go pick up Tom and I got up to get dressed but instead, walked to our bed and had a nap. I woke up about an hour later and got changed into my bathers. I heard the clink of keys and assumed that Ian was back. I walked towards the couch and sat down. Ian walked in the door and took my hand to go out.
"Ready?" he asked.
"Yup." I hugged him and we walked out towards the carpark.
"Can you drive? I don't know where it is." Ian asked.
"Sure. What did you get for our picnic?" I replied.
"Just some juice and some sandwiches." Ian replied.
"Kay," I turned on the radio and forever yours by Alex Day came on. We sang as loud as we can the whole way there. Once I parked, we got out and pulled our things out of the boot of the car.
"Shall we?" Ian held his hand out.
"We shall." I took his hand. "God, we're so cheesy!" I laughed.
"Ooh! Camembert?" He clapped.
"Okay, can we go swim now?" I laughed.
"Yup!" Ian took his shirt off.
"Yay!" I ran over to the sand, put my stuff down and sprinted into the ocean. Ian just sat there and watched. We spent about an hour jumping the waves, splashing each other and just being crazy. At about seven o'clock, we decided to have a walk along the beach. We watched the sunset and ate our sandwiches, we got up to have another walk and Ian stopped.
"What's wrong?" I was concerned.
"Do you ever feel like there's something missing?" He asked. "Well, I'm trying to figure out what to do with my life and I'm pretty sure what I want to do."
"Wait, are you breaking up with me?" I asked, tears in my eyes.
"No, the opposite." he pulled something out of his pocket. I didn't see what it was because I was staring into his eyes.
"Charlotte Rose Kennedy, will you marry me?" he got down on one knee. I suddenly felt a sharp pain and collapsed. Before I blacked out, I saw Ian's worried eyes and Dylan standing behind him ready to strike.

Chapter 17

It was an ordinary Monday morning, I woke up a little too late and got dressed. I rushed downstairs and grabbed a muesli bar, my bag and my house keys and ran out of the house, to the bus stop. But today, there was an unfamiliar girl standing alone, with what looked to be her brother. She looked beautiful in her Harry Potter t-shirt, black skinny jeans and white vans. I wanted to talk to her, but I didn't have the courage. Instead, I just waited for Anthony to get on the bus. But he didn't come and I was sitting on the bus, alone. I just waited by listening to some music, but that girl at the bus stop came and sat next to me.
"Hi, are you new here?" I asked. God, I didn't sound like a complete idiot!
"Uh, yeah. I moved here from Perth." She smiled and brushed some hair behind her ear.
"Cool! Australian, huh?" I smiled my best smile.
"Yeah, my dad just got a new job over here." she smiled back. She had a beautiful smile.
"Cool, when did you get here?" I asked.
"Just last night, actually."
"God, you must be jet lagged! Aren't you like, 25 hours ahead?"
"Yeah, but I slept it all out last night. I'm pretty good with jet lag." she smiled.
"Oh, that's good. It seems like my friend's not coming today, so I'll be a complete loner. Do you wanna have lunch with me?" I asked, in fear of getting rejected.
"Sure! I'm pretty scared of starting this school, because I've gone to catholic schools all my life." She blushed.
"Well that's a change, isn't it!" I laughed.
"Yeah, we had to do religion classes and go to mass every fortnight." She giggled.
"God, that must be terrible!" I laughed.*
"Yes, it is!"
"Yeah, it'll be a lot different here." I smiled and the bus stopped.
"Okay, see you later! I have to go to administration with my brother."
"Wait, I didn't get your name!" I signaled her to come back.
"Oh, it's Charlotte."
"Ian." I waved and went to my homeroom.**

Ahh, the memories. I stroked her hair and closed my eyes. She woke up and rolled over to face me. I checked to see if Emily was watching and she was asleep. I bent down and kissed Charlotte on the forehead. She sat up and kissed me back.
"Let's sleep on the mattress. I'm really tired!" I smiled and we slowly lay down. I fell asleep in an instant.

*not to insult anyone's religion, I've always grown up going to catholic private schools and they're not bad, just saying;)
** I'm planning on doing a prequel of this once I'm done with this one:)
